I recently moved to the area and was in a lot of pain due to a wisdom tooth that needed to be pulled out. I Googled dental offices near me because the pain had become unbearable. I couldn’t sleep for days so I ended up coming here. When they confirmed the pain WAS coming from the wisdom tooth, I called several dentist offices to compare costs as I was in the middle of applying for insurance. I found other offices that were more affordable for a tooth extraction, but I came back here because of the staff and just for the fact that while I was in a lot of pain during my first visit, I felt so comfortable at this office as a new patient. I had called another dentist office that made me feel bad about not having insurance, but not here. My 5yr old first dental experience was excellent at Garden State Dental of East Brunswick. Dr. Marc and his Assistant Alina was well equiped in handling the task of a 5 yr old child. 5-star experience with most of the staff and Dr. Maldenando here. Frankie, who took my x-rays, was very courteous and considerate which made it such a pleasant interaction. Dr. Maldenando was simply great with taking my questions unhurriedly and walking me through my x-rays. It was absolutely reassuring to have the doc give his whole attention without rushing me out of the place, going into as much detail as I wanted. The only fly in the ointment (if worth a mention) was the lady at the front desk that sent one or two patients who arrived later before me, with the excuse that I was assigned to a different doctor, when questioned about it. Nevertheless, I had a 5-star visit to this place.

The doctors and staff at Garden State Dental in Toms River are amazing! Highly recommend them! I was experiencing pain on a Wednesday morning and they fit me in as a new patient the next day at 4pm. I filled out the paper work they have posted online and I was seen promptly at my scheduled time. Unfortunately I had to have a root canal but the during procedure I was made as comfortable as possible. I have red hair and sometimes that means I need a little extra when it comes to anesthesia. The doctor was kind enough to give me extra novocain knowing that it was possible that one dose would not be enough. I was even given an ibuprofen right after the doctor had finished so I wouldn’t be in pain after the novocain wore off. Everyone there was so kind and understanding. Nothing like I’ve ever experienced at the multiple offices I’ve been to over the years. I will absolutely be going back as a regular patient for all my dental needs.
